In 2004 I; Mark J Benoit, started
planing a
Dirt Track Race.
A dream I had for a very long time..
I first started racing at the age of 16 with
the help of my Late Father whom also was a Dirt Track Racer in the
Miramichi,N.B.Ca. {Miramichi Speedway}.
If I was not Racing on a Dirt Track I was
Racing on Highways,,lol.NO Kidding
We Raced in the Winter for Carnival Fun, as
long as there was a Track I was Racing with My Brother and
Buddies.
Me and Brother Denis went from Dirt to
Ski-D0OS' for several
years.
But my Dream was always there to own or
operate My own Race Track.
Since it would cost close to $75,000.00 I
surely needed help.
In 2005 I found help was around the corner.
MY Buddies they
also were Racers and also Loved the thrills of the Track.
After getting together My
Colleagues and good Friends Serge Lavallee, Ronald Savoie, Larry Roy;
we finally finished a plan of making
a 1/4 of a mile
oval Track.
>WE are truly sorry Serge is not with us this year.<
With the help of many Volunteers we were
finished and started our FIRST June 2005.
Last Summer(2005) our ½ and
½ Draws were worth up to $820.00, this year we expect to
surpass that amount.
Our Spectators were into the 1000's, then rose to 1500's;
this
year we are looking towards the 2000's.
Dundee is a very small Parish of
around 400 people.
We had Tourist drop in from all over
Canada. I have
also gotten email's from spectators from Toronto
congratulating us
all and they will surely drop in again next time around....
This year AGAIN & everyone since; made
changes on the Track; costing again a
lot of money....
Every second Sunday weather permitting our
Races will be Up and Running; starting at 1:30P.M.
Every Sunday after Races details,
pictures,
points and standings will
be posted.

Speedy Dundee Race Track has a
NEW face lift EVERY YEAR.
Much money is spent on upgrades such as New NO Dust Earth Compost ....
Not bad for a very small Village like Dundee...
Racers we are ready for you all.
Spectators come in groves to OUR Races.
MANY
Changes & improvements' are being worked ON.
