Tribute to Dale Earnhardt

Since Dale Earnhradt was MY Hero;
I am devoting My Website to him.
As I was watching this Daytona 500 Race & seen the accident I knew this was NOT the normal everyday Nascar accident; he had to be badly hurt if not dead!!
It was a deathly accident,a very sad day for many...

All My Driving Skills I have learned from watching
Dale Racing.
I am Honored to have been able to view Dale on T.V.
I cannot remember missing one of Nascar's Races.
Never was I lucky enough to Go to One of HIS Races.
My Son Shawn, 9 yrs. of age has never missed any one of His Races since very young in age,{9 months}.
Sitting closely to me on the sofa, as WE watched OUR Hero Race around the Tracks..
Shawn has Honored His Hero; His Tribute to Dale Sr.
was having His room done up with ALL of Dales Cars.
He asked Me to bluid him a Race Track around his room on the walls.
TO include all of Dales Miniature Cars.
It was a done deal...

Cars Driven by Dale Sr.

Dale Earnhardt dropped out of high school after eighth grade, tried 3 times to fnish his grade 9.
Argued with his Father, who wanted him to complete high school, and drove on dirt tracks.
Although Earnhardt became famous for driving a black car emblazoned with the number 3,
his first dirt-track car was a 1956 hot-pink Ford Sedan.
His Father had built the engine.
The color >pink< was an error when His father mixed together different paints to
make it >green< but low in cash >pink< it had to be.
He raced his pink car on dirt tracks around Charlotte, North Carolina.
HIS Father Ralph was also a Driver.
Earnhardt's Mother gave his Father's race cars to Earnhardt.

Dale began his first Winston cup Racing in 1974;drove an Ed Negre car and
finished 22nd in the race.
Dale Sr. drove a #96 in four races for Will Cronkite. It was a Ford Torino.
That was also the year he made his first start for Rod Osterlund driving #98.
He switched to the #2 in his rookie season of 1979.
He made his Cup debut driving a #8 Dodge for Ed Negre at Charlotte in 1975.
In 1976 he drove a race in the #30 and #77.
In 1977 he drove a race in the #19.
